Early life was in Ilford, now part of London Borough of Redbridge. I went to Christchurch Primary School and Ilford County High School.
A working life, which started in 1962, in ‘Air Traffic Management’ has given me a small collection of photos which should be shared among the wider world. The industry is changing all the time and I am afraid many of the stages have been lost or are in peoples private memories. Contact me if you have pictures or memories to share.
I will eventually include photos of all the sites I have worked at; Gatwick; Alderney; Sumburgh; West Drayton and Prestwick.
You will also find links and information about my interest in astronomy and the Reading Astronomical Society in particular. Also notable was a working stay at the Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in Namibia which is now called the Sossusvlei Desert Reserve. Pricey but recommended! I have a photo-record of my stay.
