Large home built telescope

Dr Peter Hemphill, a long-time member of RAS is donating his home-built telescope.
10” Newtonian,
Focal length 72” (six feet!) in an English fork mounting.
Square wooden tube, electric drive in RA, brass circles, finder scope, various eyepieces & Barlow lens.
It’s been observatory housed so in good condition and full working order.

As this item is a donation and of substantial size it will need some consideration. If anyone has an observatory or considering building one it could suit you.
I doubt it would be a good imaging platform. The price would be anyone’s (low?) guess and subject to agreement.

Dr Hemphill is no longer able to use it, and would like give it to an enthusiast.
